Three copy-ready templates — mid-level, senior and lead — written for 2026 React Native roles. Paste one into your careers page, or send it to us as a brief and meet vetted React Native engineers in 48 hours instead.
Mid-level React Native engineer
Delivers features independently within established patterns.
About the role We are looking for a Mid-Level React Native Engineer to build and maintain production mobile features for iOS and Android. You will work with product, design, backend, and QA teammates to deliver reliable user flows using a modern React Native stack, such as React Native 0.80+, TypeScript, Hermes, React Navigation, and TanStack Query or similar tools. What you'll do Build screens, forms, lists, and API integrations with clear loading and error states. Fix platform-specific bugs and help keep dependencies healthy. Participate in code reviews, write practical tests, and support app releases through TestFlight, Play Console, EAS, or native CI pipelines. Improve accessibility, performance, and maintainability in the areas you touch. What you'll bring Professional React Native experience shipping customer-facing features. Solid TypeScript, React hooks, navigation, API state, and debugging skills. Comfort testing on real iOS and Android devices. Ability to communicate trade-offs, ask good questions, and own features from implementation through release. Nice to have Experience with Expo prebuild, React Native New Architecture, native modules, analytics, crash reporting, offline behavior, or app store release support.
Senior React Native engineer
Owns significant areas, sets patterns and mentors.
About the role We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to own complex mobile features and raise the technical quality of a production iOS and Android app. You will make architecture decisions, guide implementation patterns, and partner with product, design, backend, security, and native specialists where needed. What you'll do Design and deliver larger features across multiple screens and services. Lead debugging of performance, startup, crash, and platform-specific issues. Shape state management, navigation, release, testing, and observability practices. Review code with useful feedback, mentor other engineers, and help plan safe dependency upgrades, New Architecture adoption, and OTA update guardrails. What you'll bring Deep React Native and TypeScript experience in production apps. Strong judgment around Expo versus bare workflows, native dependencies, app store constraints, secure storage, offline behavior, and CI/CD. Ability to break down ambiguous work, explain trade-offs clearly, and balance product delivery with long-term maintainability. Nice to have Experience with Fabric, TurboModules, JSI, Reanimated, performance profiling, monorepos, white-label apps, embedded React Native surfaces, or regulated data environments.
Lead React Native engineer
Sets technical direction and leads a team.
About the role We are looking for a Lead React Native Engineer to set technical direction for a remote mobile team and remain hands-on with critical architecture and delivery work. You will own the health of the React Native app across iOS and Android while helping engineers make consistent, pragmatic decisions. What you'll do Define mobile architecture, coding standards, release practices, and quality gates. Lead planning for complex initiatives such as offline sync, modularization, New Architecture migration, performance improvement, or multi-brand support. Partner with engineering managers, product leaders, designers, backend teams, and QA to turn unclear requirements into shippable plans. Coach senior and mid-level engineers through design reviews, incident follow-ups, and technical debt prioritization. What you'll bring Extensive production React Native experience and a track record of leading mobile technical decisions. Strong understanding of native platform constraints, CI/CD, app store releases, observability, secure storage, accessibility, and dependency lifecycle management. Clear written communication, calm incident leadership, and the ability to choose simple solutions when they are enough. Nice to have Experience leading distributed teams, owning mobile platform roadmaps, working with native iOS or Android code, building internal component systems, or supporting apps with strict reliability, privacy, or compliance needs.
