Mid-level Swift engineer
Delivers features independently within established patterns.
About the role We are looking for a Mid-Level Swift Engineer to build and maintain production iOS features in a remote product team. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and QA to deliver reliable SwiftUI and UIKit experiences using modern Swift, async/await, and Xcode 26. What you'll do - Build user-facing iOS features from scoped requirements. - Integrate REST or GraphQL APIs with clear loading and error states. - Write unit tests and support UI or snapshot tests where useful. - Debug crashes, performance regressions, and layout issues. - Participate in code reviews and improve existing code incrementally. - Contribute to shared components, design system usage, and accessibility fixes. What you'll bring - Professional experience shipping Swift apps to the App Store. - Practical knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, URLSession, Codable, and concurrency. - Comfort reading logs, stack traces, and Instruments output. - Good communication in pull requests, planning, and incident follow-up. - Awareness of localization, accessibility, and secure storage basics. Nice to have - Experience with Swift Package Manager modules. - Familiarity with Core Data, SwiftData, SQLite, or offline caching. - Exposure to CI pipelines, feature flags, or release monitoring tools.
Senior Swift engineer
Owns significant areas, sets patterns and mentors.
About the role We are hiring a Senior Swift Engineer to own complex iOS features and raise the quality of a mature Swift codebase. You will make architectural decisions, guide implementation across several modules, and help the team ship safely while adopting current Swift patterns such as strict concurrency, SwiftUI, async/await, and package-based modularization. What you'll do - Lead design and delivery of high-impact app features. - Define clean boundaries between UI, domain logic, networking, persistence, and analytics. - Improve reliability through tests, observability, feature flags, and release checks. - Diagnose production crashes, memory issues, launch regressions, and concurrency bugs. - Review code with attention to maintainability, accessibility, performance, and security. - Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through pairing, design notes, and feedback. - Collaborate with backend and product teams on API contracts and edge cases. What you'll bring - Strong experience shipping and maintaining Swift apps at scale. - Deep understanding of Swift concurrency, SwiftUI/UIKit interop, and app lifecycle. - Sound judgment on architecture without over-engineering. - Experience with modular codebases, CI, automated testing, and App Store releases. - Clear written communication for remote collaboration and technical decisions. Nice to have - Experience migrating apps to Swift 6 concurrency checks. - Knowledge of TCA, coordinators, or other state/navigation patterns. - Background in payments, health, media, maps, or other domain-heavy apps.
Lead Swift engineer
Sets technical direction and leads a team.
About the role We are seeking a Lead Swift Engineer to set technical direction for iOS development while staying close to the code. You will coordinate architecture across teams, support delivery planning, and create the engineering practices that help a remote mobile team ship reliable, accessible, and maintainable apps. What you'll do - Own the iOS technical roadmap with engineering and product leadership. - Define standards for Swift architecture, concurrency, modularization, testing, observability, and release safety. - Lead discovery for large initiatives involving backend contracts, platform constraints, privacy, and rollout strategy. - Review critical designs and pull requests without becoming a bottleneck. - Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, run technical forums, and improve hiring rubrics. - Drive incident reviews, performance initiatives, and modernization work such as Swift 6 adoption or SwiftUI migration. - Balance short-term delivery with long-term codebase health. What you'll bring - Extensive experience shipping Swift apps and leading technical decisions across multiple features or teams. - Strong command of SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift concurrency, persistence, networking, CI, and App Store release processes. - Proven ability to align engineers around pragmatic standards. - Excellent remote communication, documentation, and stakeholder management. - A track record of improving reliability, developer experience, and code ownership. Nice to have - Experience building internal SDKs or shared mobile platforms. - Background with regulated, security-sensitive, or offline-first products. - Experience leading migrations from Objective-C or large UIKit codebases.
