What you'll do - Build APIs and background services using C#, .NET 9/10, ASP.NET Core, and EF Core. - Write maintainable application code, unit tests, and integration tests. - Debug production issues using logs, metrics, traces, and database queries. - Participate in code reviews and technical planning. - Improve performance, validation, error handling, and reliability in existing services. - Collaborate with product, QA, and platform engineers to ship changes safely. What you'll bring - Professional experience building C# applications in a production environment. - Working knowledge of ASP.NET Core, dependency injection, async/await, REST APIs, and SQL. - Ability to reason about trade-offs and ask for help early. - Care for readable code, tests, and clear communication in a remote setting. Nice to have - Experience with Azure or AWS, Docker, OpenTelemetry, message queues, or CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with frontend integration, security basics, or legacy .NET modernization.
Senior C# engineer
Owns significant areas, sets patterns and mentors.
About the role We are hiring a Senior C# Engineer to own important .NET services from design through operation. You will make technical decisions, mentor engineers, and improve the reliability, security, and maintainability of systems that support customer-facing workflows. What you'll do - Design and implement ASP.NET Core APIs, workers, and data access layers using modern C# and .NET 10. - Lead technical discovery for ambiguous features and break work into safe delivery steps. - Review designs and pull requests with attention to correctness, operability, and long-term cost. - Improve observability, incident response, performance, and deployment safety. - Model data with EF Core and SQL while handling concurrency, transactions, and migrations. - Mentor mid-level engineers through pairing, feedback, and practical examples. What you'll bring - Strong production experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core or Dapper, and relational databases. - Sound judgment around service boundaries, asynchronous processing, caching, and resilience. - Ability to debug complex issues across application code, infrastructure, and data. - Clear written communication and comfort working across product and engineering teams. Nice to have - Experience with distributed tracing, Kubernetes, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, Redis, or identity platforms. - Background modernizing .NET Framework applications or evolving modular monoliths.
Lead C# engineer

About the role We are hiring a Lead C# Engineer to guide the technical direction of a remote .NET team. You will stay hands-on while setting standards, shaping architecture, and helping engineers make decisions that balance delivery, reliability, and maintainability. What you'll do - Lead design for major C#/.NET systems, including APIs, workers, integrations, and data flows. - Define engineering practices for testing, observability, code review, security, and incident response. - Partner with product and leadership to turn business goals into technical plans and milestones. - Coach engineers through design reviews, pairing, feedback, and career development input. - Identify architectural risks, simplify legacy areas, and plan incremental modernization. - Represent the team in cross-functional technical discussions and vendor or platform decisions. What you'll bring - Deep experience delivering and operating production systems with C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL. - Strong architectural judgment across modular monoliths, distributed systems, messaging, and cloud platforms. - Proven ability to raise team quality without creating unnecessary process. - Calm leadership during incidents, ambiguity, and competing priorities. - Excellent written communication for remote collaboration and decision records. Nice to have - Experience with Azure or AWS architecture, identity and access management, OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, or regulated environments. - Prior responsibility for technical roadmaps or multi-team platform initiatives.
